Yep, definitely something I'm interested in is the ground to product impact. I expect that they'll be looking at bringing as much in house to reduce impact though I doubt there is much room to start mines with a better proximity. Then again given the sheer size of the project and the raw materials that are needed it

Running from memory Cornflakes, the issue isnt exactly the brightness but the fact that they have a different shape and therefore interact with the lenses differently and dont comply with the correct projection shape. this is mostly what causes it to blind other drivers.

If it continues to be a fork from android it would be logical that google will either license it to just about anyone or it'll be open source and be on a head unit about 10min after release.
