this probably wont be used in video games for a few years, I can imagine that these are probably really high res textures, too high for game use. Be good for CG in films though!

High end in PC terms means stuff like top of the line Haswell CPUs, GTX Titan (or 780) and other stuff like this. Hardware that destroys the specs of the PS4 and Xbone, granted it's all quite expensive but still. PC hardware/specs are miles ahead of the console "generations"
