I’ve really been surprised at some of the issues Ford has been having lately. I haven’t owned a modern Ford product, but nothing I’ve heard or read would make me really want to at this point.

Wasn’t there a statement from Farley not long ago that Ford has more engineers working on product development than the other automakers? Perhaps a case of “too many cooks in the kitchen” going on at Ford?

This really is a serious problem. I’ve experienced it multiple times. For me it was always on the highway when I pressed the accelerator down fairly quickly to pass. The downshift was so violent I thought I’d hit a huge pothole or something. And it sounds like somebody hitting the engine block with a sledgehammer.

It probably depends on whether the owner is a biker or an office worker who had their midlife crisis during the pandemic.

I wonder if it’s more dangerous all around repo’ing Harleys, I imagine the ven diagram of Harley owners and itchy trigger fingers is pretty high.

i’m not saying that if I had 10 million to buy a mansion I would buy this property but i can take the good with the bad.

that bathroom is so amazing i can basically forgive all of the other sins!

Melanoma happened.

Fire your optometrist.

Genesis needs to get its dealer network up to par with the cars it’s releasing. I had a GV80 in my list of SUVs to test drive last time in the market (18 months ago). Traveling a lot fo work in the northeast I only ever saw one standalone Genesis dealer, with one under construction. The rest were run out of Hyundai

Good looking car from the outside. We’ll assume they’ll do something about the bizarre “leather tile” interior.

Yes, and then GOD HELP YOU.  Hoovie had one that he sold to Tavarish, who replaced the engine, and promptly sold it, because it was stupidly expensive to get parts for, and what a nightmare to work on.

Wow, I… really hate that interior. Fortunately the interior is the most customizable area of a car.

The “headlight streaks” (for lack of a better term) should not stop at the door cut line.  It’s a bit jarring.  They should stop before the door.

8mm (63/200 inches) long and 6mm (59/250 inches) wide”

A decade ago I was lucky enough to be able to work remotely and my company paid for me to travel to the office for a week every month. Needless to say, I got to drive a ton of different rental cars over those few years. Kia’s always stood out to me because it felt just a little bit higher quality and got great gas

I know some folks who work in service for {ALL CAR MAKERS}.  No thanks.

you mean the people that almost exclusively work on a specific brand see a lot of that brand? Who’d a thought!

Hyundai and Kia.

I just bought a 2016 Jaguar XF two months ago. It had 55k on it. I watched so many videos and read up so much to see how bad it would be when it starts to do “jag shit”.. it seems that at least since 2013 Jags havent been much worse on yearly maintenance cost than BMW or Audi. So far so good, but you better believe
