No one else would know that cops crushed George Floyd to death were it not for separate recording. You are confusing what is legal evidence produced in court and the coverage used to entertain you. Cops have a significant record of deleting their recordings when it’s clear they have acted in the wrong.

Cops already escalate - they will call an additional 20 officers to the scene as a threat to the life of a person who they think isn’t licking their boots properly.

You’re missing the point. Livestreaming doesn’t endanger police, like at all.

Police cameras stop recording all of the time, “coincidentally” right when something of importance happens. Department policy will often say that a camera shouldn’t be turned off, and it still happens, anyway.

You also have to recognize most police agencies already have body worn cameras and squad cameras which presumably keep everyone accountable in traffic stops.
