I’ve wondered about this discrepancy for a very long time.

It’s definitely conservatively tuned, and definitely agree that it’s not the top performance sedan; I’m okay with that. For me it’s about balance. I’m aligning my ducks so that my next car will be a factory-delivery C8 (or C9), and even then, you can best believe I’m getting the 3LT.

..and slightly more rear leg-room.

It’s pretty depressing actually to pull up Flightradar24 (Flightradar24 is da bomb if you haven’t tried it- though you might need the paid version to filter by aircraft), filter it for the Boeing 747 family, and see so few of these in the air over North America.

Yeah I think my friend paid $80K for his- his is a Quadrifoglio (sp?) version. With that being said, he was very impressed with my G70, and his jaw dropped when I told him what I paid for it.

That’s why good cars like the Alfa Romeo Giulia and VW GTI aren’t selling in strong numbers.

I can tell you why those new product-plans were thrown out the window: product development costs. There was a reason that Sergio Marchionne was looking for suitors when he was at the helm; he wanted to share the substantial development costs of new platforms, engines, and electronics.

I wish I could buy a couple of those for when my kids are old enough to date.
