Agreed. If someone approaches me from behind, I get over as soon as possible and let ‘em pass, even giving them the “go ahead!” hand signal.

The Raptor driver is just as big of a Douchebag as the Accord driver. Stop playing penile games and let people be on their way if they want to pass you. Let them pass and let them be the magnet for any law enforcement stationed ahead.

Agreed. I will say they do a good job of pushing the boundaries of the medium and the genre. I just wish I could play their games; they are gorgeous.

This.

That sounds pretty handy. I’m going to check on Amazon an order one of these for my dayum self.

Genesis: Bad gas mileage? Hold my Beer Soju.

I’ve found that people’s tendency to call out a news source as ‘biased’ tracks 100 percent with when they dislike the information being reported. That doesn’t mean the information is invalid.

Yeah I could give a rat’s ass whether it’s being owned by the Saudi Government or not, but I agree with your point about getting your hands on one.

Teslas have their good points and I’ll never stop giving them credit for completely disrupting the automobile industry, but man if I had unlimited cash to blow on an EV it would be a Lucid Air.

So does that mean there’s no merit in the information presented? I mean, it’s not like people’s lives could be put on the line or anything.

Well, at least those brands as well as the US carmakers from that time have the unreliable electronics in common! 😂

Phoenix heat is no joke (and this is from a Texan). I remember driving there on my way to the Grand Canyon (did a 3 day weekend trip) and when passing through Phoenix at like 2am and it was 90 degrees outside.

I agree with this; my Pop (whom I didn’t grow up with) had Cadillacs and my Mom had a Lincoln. Cadillacs definitely handled better. Lincolns rode better though- Lincolns used to float.

I learned to drive on a 1979 Continental Mark V, so I’m right there with you. Everything you say is true. There was the benefit however of knowing where the corners of the car were; you always knew where they were. I actually found it easier to parallel park (well, before the introduction of vehicle cameras anyway).

You won’t find many cars more comfortable (in terms of seating) than a mid 1970s American floating living room. Drive a 1975 Buick Limited or a 1978 Lincoln Town Car. Opt for the fabric upholstery over the leather. Sure, there’s tons of plastic (both inside and outside), and they drive like boats and handle like

Kinda depends on the car’s tuning, but I agree that a manual gives you more control. Now some might argue that paddle shifters give you that level of control, and that point has at least some merit.

Manuals were fun, but the computer can do it much, MUCH better.

I vote Toyota MR2 from the first to second generation. Edit: Hmm, this is definitely a generational change and wouldn’t qualify under facelift so it wouldn’t qualify. Nevertheless, enjoy the MR2 beauty.

I don’t think it’s good enough for Marty to take Jennifer up to the lake with.
