This is great news, both for Tesla and for the planet. I may rag on Tesla’s quality, but the truth of the matter is they changed the world, and they deserve credit for that.

When the fuel crunch hit, Rabbits were so popular that there were stories going around about people driving behind vehicle delivery trucks tailing them to the dealer. Not sure if this is accurate, but it was a widely told tale at the time. I also think I remember an advertisement for the Rabbit(?) with a big 55MPG…

From someone who’s bought a Japanese-made car in the US, “imported it to Canada”, and then brought it back again a few years later, there are a couple of things to keep in mind.

Orthogonal to this spill, much of the Galveston Bay looks like wall-to-wall refineries and chemical plants, which is a bit of a shame, because the natural landscape is very lush and naturally green and beautiful, and was probably crawling with wildlife at one point. I mean it still is, but not like it was a couple…

But without it, it probably has the structural rigidity of potato chip.

My older brother had one of those when he was in HS. That car was... euphemistically speaking, endemic to the 1980s.

Now that you mention it, I wouldn’t be surprised if the Integra in the photo was more or less the size of the original Legend.

Kudos to them for bringing back the Integra name. They should consider bringing back the Legend as well. Oh, and does this mean that Honda is getting a Prelude? Prelude was my first car, and I 💘 them.

Yeah this is the guy who decided to sleep in his car and wash himself in the Baltic sea to save a couple of bills on a hotel. He would then go on to meet up with folks at Koenigsegg (probably smelling like Grouper juice), some of whom gave him.. *ahem* a bit of a cool reception.
