@Chairman Kaga: <3 click. I don't have it anywhere near that bad. For me it is the brother-in-law problem, we'll call him Joe. Joe is a huge religious zealot who finally stopped trying to convert the rest of us a few years ago but still takes any chance he gets to say something about how great his faith is. He even

@brandegee: Can we have this instead? ( know it's not an 'Escape' but it's so much cooler!)

Simple. I ride a bike. I have the best commute in Philly- 6.5 miles of trails in Fairmount Park and then 2.5 miles on streets. My wife bought me studded tires a few years back so even ice doesn't stop me from riding. It's great, cheap, helps me clear my head, and lets me not feel guilty for avoiding the gym. My

@timbuktu: Well put. I'd promote this if I could.

@ChazzyD: Hmmm. Yeah I guess that would work too but I admit I was thinking more along the line of Julie Andrews...

Snowtires on Volvos and 80's synth music

@jd: /sarcasm?

@cubsftw: When I used to work in a vintage raceshop we would see all kinds of wondrous Brittish machinery either in our shop or at the races. We used to often joke about how many pints were involved in the design of some of them. I loved the creativity and brewpub engineering of them, especially the one-offs where it

@$kaycog: prowler:"Does this model make my ass look big?"

That's great news. This is a nice looking little wagon -but it's a bit of a stretch to call it a minivan.

@AMGkiller: A cute girl I knew in high school had the previous generation Z24 (2.8L v6 IIRC). I never got to drive either of them so I don't know how fast it was but it always sounded good.

'76 Corolla Wagon, "the Wonder Wagon" (except this is a '78 and mine was the darker blue).

@Turbineguy - now with Ash78-less dispersant: Funny thing is, I'll bet if you asked that guy a few years back what he thought of guys that wax their eyebrows, he probably wouldn't have talked about how masculine it is.

@DunkinDude: @Tossed Pissed Mazda3hatch sideways: @PaulE: Thanks guys. At 91, he'd had a good long run.

@duurtlang: I hate these smoke belchers. Sadly, the laws here may say that it is illegal but they also say that motorcycles can't exceed a certain db level. I think the smoky trucks may be like obnoxiously loud motorcycles in many jurisdictions: if it's American (Harley) then it's ok, if it's a furrin bike, be

Makes me think of my grandpa who just passed away last week. He was an engineer and lifelong Ham radio operator. I always remember the huge radio tower in his yard that we played around when I was a kid. He was admitted to hospice a few weeks back with inoperable cancer. He took a major turn for the worse last week

@duurtlang: Oh, you silly Yurrpeans, you and you caring for the environment and stuff. Here in the USA people are proud to pollute, especially if it gets them a few extra hp, or better still if it just makes it sound like they have a few more hp and belches awesome smoke!
