@Enorym: Yeah. Isn't this how Skynet started?

@Jeb_Hoge: ooo Or I loved it when Rhona Mitra was a British accented lawyer on Boston Legal. She would have persuaded me of anything.

@FodderTheSane: Ahh yes, but the beauty is that I'll bet Bernie got paid for this even if it does fail. And he'll get paid again when they reapply or find another location. That's the genius of Bernie Ecclestone: Always Get Paid.

@driven to reading all of Paul Jones Comments: Didn't the France family buy the Glen many years ago? If they can handle a NASCAR race, they should be able to handle a F1 race. The France clan may not be able to handle the politics of F1 but the track staff should be able to handle the actual event logistics. My main

@Cherokhemi: Shorter bed? 4 full doors? Just buy an Unlimited and spray bedliner in the back. I'll take a 6-7ft bed thanks.

Thank you for saying that. I think it would actually be a very powerful piece of sculpture to stand next to.

@Baby Beater Benz: WooHoo! Colt TwinStick FTW! They kept it all the way through '84 so you could have the first year of the Colt turbo with the TwinStick. Nice.

The driver must have fallen asleep, the only skid marks must be in their shorts

@Bret: I was wondering a similar thing, I assume the cars that have their lights on must have been occupied when they got caught up in the flood.

@bripab007: sounds like they need the ceramic ball bearings in the CVs like the Nissan GTP car we had in the shop (when I was there many years ago). They were amazingly smooth, light, and expensive.

@smackela: that makes me think of this

@Novaload: Yep, and both BP and the government told me so. So it must be true!

@stoke: +1 exceeding 90deg of slip is a definite win.

@They call me MISTER Scroggs!: With all due respect to Fangio, I have to vote for the Jags. That was fantastic. Its like the video someone posted of actual cats sliding across the floor. Perfect.

@nsdewitt001: God what a horrible movie. They actually managed to make a fun car chase almost unwatchable with stupid dialog. Ugh. This is definitely NOT the best drifting video. Needs less acting.

@JDickson87: Sadly, I think some insurance companies do the opposite. I think my insurance company has a clause that they'll drop me if I ever have my car on a racetrack. I assume this is because there have been too many asshats that try to claim they were 'avoiding a deer' when they went off the road but they

@Ben Wojdyla: out of curiosity, do you know if they replace the gearstack or the housing, or both?

@JDickson87: I'm all in favor of that. In order to keep enthusiast car insurance (and hopefully kill fewer innocent bystanders and passengers -hey the driver had it coming to them) affordable to the enthusiasts how about 290hp or anything with 12lbs/hp or less?

@SpikeJnZ + GT35R = Love: Sure, Veyrons too. I don't know where the threshold for requiring HPD classes should be set but as a first stab I'll say it should be somewhere below 400hp.
