@79pinto: I've heard it was actually a documentary sent back to us from the future.

@Novaload: NOOOOOOO!!!!! Damn you internetz!!!
@Van Sarockin, rogue trebuchet: Hey now! My mom always keeps her shirt tucked in so you shouldn't have seen anything...
@carcrazy73: Yep, riding a bike to work seriously reduces my aggravation on many days. Last week I drove one day and it took me over an hour to get home instead of my usual 35-40 minute bike ride. My head was about to explode.
@maximum_sarge: That's why I gave up and just decided that passing on the right was acceptable behavior.
@kramocramed: I'd be thrilled if my Miata was only turning 3000 @ 80. The factory gearing is so track oriented (fun but absurd for highway cruising) that it is turning at least 4000rpm @ 80mph. I'm seriously considering swapping out the 4.3 and sticking in the 3.9 just to drop the revs some even though it would mean…
@GotaGurt: Oh, I'm not objecting to that. I was just adding that the guy was an exceptionally douchy douche for threatening to sue over something that was in many respects his fault in the first place. If he wanted to save money on a bike for his kid, go buy a used higher quality one not something made of low-grade…
@GotaGurt: He was a douchebag just for buying a bike at Toy-R-Us. One of our local bike shop owners (who is admittedly biased but I agree with his point) calls them "bicycle-shaped-objects" because they are so poorly designed and have such crappy components that if you ever take it to a shop to have it repaired either…
These are pretty rare on the East Coast and I've always found them very attractive, even with the top up (also rare). $2600 for a decent runner, NP. Ironic flames and generic wheels, priceless.
@Engineerman: there was a similar caller on CarTalk a year or so ago. It was a really crazy story.
So why does a car in Florida have a remote starter? the A/C?
Since exotic cars are such low volume and cost so much, I've never understood why there are factory colors at all. For any car over $100,000 they should be willing to paint it any damn color I want.
@SlowMo: oh, and one other thing: Now THAT is how you straighten a frame on a $500 car! "We never slow-pulled. Always violent. Always to eleven."
The thing that just kills me is the note that before stage 7 Bill, "stripped wires out of the in car video system..."
@Muscles Marinara: Wow, if that is as clean on the underside as it is topside, that is a NP. Since it is in Chicago though, I'd really want to see under the car. If I ever wanted a sedan (which I don't) this would be near the top of my long-distance cruiser list.
@TBIburnoutmachine: So is this FMY Blue?
Cheeky.
I smell a LeMons theme...
@brandegee: That would be brilliant. Or even just a Cayman covered Cayman.
Bill, you are a God among men. I never use the word Hero because I hate how it has been applied to anyone that does anything beyond getting up in the morning, but for you I have no choice, you are my Hero. Oh, and the overused word Epic is also wholly appropriate here. Truly inspirational. You are one Epically Heroic…
