So does the UK have very stringent enforcement on not having a front plate? Because for the most part when I see exotics, or just nice cars, in Texas, most people would rather risk getting pulled over and not run a front plate, rather than have an awkward rectangle on the front of their beautiful car. But almost all

That is an incredible story. Thanks a ton for writing that out. Mustangs are my favorite, especially the classics. My grandpa in law had a 69 gt500 that was almost all original that I was able to sell before he traded it for a brand new gt500 + cash a couple years ago. It was such a kick ass car, and even cooler that

What do you mean drag it out? Like you owned it before hand and saw all the other cars sitting in there when you got it? Or you bought the warehouse? More story please!

Ah yes the Speedy Monzales. For those that don't know, that thing originally had a 12 ft long springy tail, but they had to take it off after about 2 laps because it was violently slapping the pavement 5 ft behind the car. It looked like a Death Race defensive contraption.

Good lord.

There has got to be somewhere in CS that you can camp. I mean the place is in the middle of nowhere. If you want I can ask some of my Aggie buddies

Yea this makes sense that they would be machining and casting all their own pieces.

Could someone explain to me why this engine costs as much as a lot of high end exotics? Serious questions. Does it make bonkers horsepower or something?

Flex head ratcheting wrenches are a revelation. These, along with my cordless impact, are easily my favorite tool in my garage. No more screwing around with different extensions and sockets to try and get a bolt in a tight space off, or spending eternity re-adjusting your wrench after every quarter turn.

So one thing I would like to add for putting together your team: try and find some idiots like myself that will stay up all night to be your pit crew, because this can be a gigantic advantage. One of my teammates attributed the fact that every driver got to sleep since we had dedicated pit crew to a reason for us

Holy shit that is a picture of me in the top of the article!!!!! I'm pretty sure I am holding the fire extinguisher. I haven't read it yet but I just got super excited. We won that race so I will supply my thoughts later.

I believe they buy a lot of the cars from Florida, but I have no idea if that would take them past you. Considering you would only see them once a month I am not sure where they are coming from.

I'm not sure where you live, but this is a common sight in Texas and Louisiana along I-10. They buy several cars for cheap then tow them to Mexico to sell. Unfortunately, an old classmate of mine was killed by one that became disconnected on the opposite side of I-10, and went across the median and hit their car head

You should let Deadmau5 know you did it before it was cool (just kidding it was cool when y'all did it too).

Now playing

This is relevant. My buddy who races LeMons posted this in response to this article.

Can there be another song besides for this? Hell naw.

I actually have had several conversations with the owner of the car, and he is a blast to talk to. His name is Kelly, and he owns a bunch of sick cars. Right now hes converting his C6 Z06 to be his new Texas Mile car. This Camaro was his baby though, and I have literally listened to him talk for 45 minutes straight

I have seen that place but never been. I will check it out in 2 weekends on the way to my track day at MSR Cresson!
