Haha. Got love how there is ALWAYS someone that will defend a company.

Republicans in December, when Trump was fast-tracking vaccines: “I can’t wait to take Trump’s vaccine! I’m going to feel so patriotic afterwards! And when somebody asks who made that vaccine happen, I will point to this big, stupid, red hat on my head!”

They’ve always sort of been this way, but the last few years the GOP’s pretty much made clear they don’t want to bother with the law-passing part of governance that involves actually, materially helping the lives of regular people. (See infrastructure for a currently ongoing example.) Their goal is getting into

They don’t expect to be lawmakers. They just want to get into cushy jobs where all they do all day is own the libs and maintain their base of voters with constant lies, bigotry, and hatred (aka ‘ensure job security’).

Another irony is that if you WANT to be sterilized, and are white, they will do just about anything to prevent you from doing it and to get you to change your mind. I was sterilized very young by choice and it was not easy. I. had to wait years before they would even listen to me.

This same argument works both ways.

But again, just as you say it’s one specific card that is being destroyed, it’s also only happening on one specific game.

But that’s the problem. Obama “returned us to normalcy” after 8 years of Bush. No one was prosecuted, no one held accountable. Biden’s looking like he’ll be doing the same.

Frito lay has been implementing a new sales system which claims to be more efficient but it most definitely is not. The only thing it efficiently did was cut pay for all front line sales personnel. I flew on a 787 Max. Oops, not my first choice. Very nice plane inside, not the typical yellow, dark, stuffy interior. Not worried with a US flight crew., but I lost trust in Boeing due to their Chicago based MBAs.

Boeing have it all handled now. <snerk>

If Boeing (could have?) learned anything after the MCAS fiasco, they certainly aren’t showing it.

Go read up on why those planes crashed. It was entirely Boeing’s fault. From poor training materials to poor and cheap design decisions. Worst of all, they knew, systemically, about all these issues and their ONLY concern was it not being found out about and getting certification.

I think one problem the major airlines like United and AA have is that they can’t decide what they want to be.  Do they want to compete with Emirates and make flying a good experience?  Or do they want to compete with Spirit, make it cheap, and charge for every tiny comfort?  Since they can’t decide, they try to be
