Hopefully they will change from a marketing company to a company that can focus on customers who buy cars and want to buy cars. Luca has always been more about the marketing than the automotive business.

I went to price a GTI on the site yesterday and was astonished to find that I couldn't build and price the car I wanted. Major flaw. If I can build and price, it wasn't obvious to me how I could do it. I thought it might be because the model was new and it wasn't an option yet. I checked other models and had the…
I found out that It is difficult but not impossible to buy a new cop car.
Whenever I fill up an exotic, I get the same two questions. Q1) How much does that thing cost? and Q2) What do you do for a living?
My thoughts... This thing is too heavy. Wish it was closer to 1400 lbs. 1700 lbs is just too much for a minimalist car like this. Seems like that engine and trans saddled it with a lot of weight. For reference I built cars with 4 wheels and a V8 that came in right under 2000 lbs. The front fenders seem to be way…
McLaren didn't control "the list" the way that Ferrari does. If you got in early with your deposit, you could get a car. Or two. Unfortunately, when they were sold out, they were sold out. The 918 still has open slots available if you are interested.
This is the only car that I have been in that made my vision blurry on acceleration. It was LOL fun. The brakes are almost as insane. Nothing like seeing a fat man suspended by his seat-belt flying toward the dash...
Ferrari did this because the only way they win is on "soul" or "that certain something". When it comes to outright performance around a track the 650s will it the Speciale's lunch.
Is it just me or do the white cars look like 9/10 scale versions of the green/yellow car?

This weekend, I finally got to put some decent miles on a 12C. I LOVE this car. It isn't as sexy as a 458 (Which I think is a great looking car). It is more a form follows function design. The rear is actually really good looking in my opinion, the front has some awkwardness to its look. Awkwardness like an early…
I got to drive a 918 recently. It was fantastic. So many bits and pieces that were reminiscent of the Carrera GT. One of the sales guys likened the 918 to the 959 in that it is a technical showcase for the company and pushes the boundaries of where and how we get supercar performance for the future. I was…
Yeah, not sure that it is all that amazing. Sounds like a big American V8. I heard a Coyote 5.0 with a Borla exhaust yesterday that certainly puts this car to shame. I know its comparing apples to aftermarket but I am not in love with this one.
The car was more than 27 feet long, and over the aforementioned six wheels, four of them were driven. The twin tails were supposed to keep it stable, and had a drag coefficient of only 0.18, which is kind of crazy for how huge it was.
This is great and I understand the want for a balanced car. Let me put it this way though... I drove the car yesterday on a test drive and I am not a buyer of this car with 200hp. I want something with a little more oomph. With a 280-300hp turbo motor at $28-32k and a factory warranty, I AM a buyer.
This loss for the unions helps restore my faith in the US. We don't need people to watch out for us, we don't need a union steward to hold our hand when we have to talk to the boss, we don't need a greedy corrupt group of people taking money and blowing it. We need the opportunity to work hard and get ahead. The…
'66 Camaro? Dude... Come on.
The V10 in the Carrera GT. Sounds better than the LFA and is mated to a real transmission. It has instant throttle response both up and down the rev range. Closest thing to a racing engine for the street in the last 20 years and in one of the last true analogue cars made by a volume manufacturer.
It's actually a '33 from FFR and while they build some decent stuff that will out handle an original old Ford, they are certainly not a steel bodied original and leave a lot to be desired in fit and finish. All FFR products are a good value but they serve up a lot of Kool-Aid as well.
