When you are pulling a car and trailer worth $420k over snowy mountain passes and with cross winds of 40mph, it is nice to have the stability that dual rear wheels provide. A big diesel engine makes light work of heavy loads and steep grades.

Using the right tool for the job (see what I did there) has its advantages. Trying to pull a race trailer 3000 miles with a little truck is doable but, pulling one with a big old dually truck is so much nicer and less stressful. Most folks that pony up the dollars for a heavy duty diesel dually actually have a need…
Sounds like it has a proper DCT instead of that crappy ISR transmission of its big brother...???
Actually, you don't know what we are talking about. :-( I will pour a little 0W-50 on the curb in effigy.
I wonder if HRE will be the OEM wheel supplier?
This is the biggest mystery when ordering a Ferrari. They kind of just throw this on and there really isn't any rhyme or reason to it. I have helped spec two Ferrari's for order and both came back with this. I think they have a random number generator at the factory. It has a value somewhere between $8,ooo and…
Have to agree. I spent a thousand or so miles on some great driving roads, interstate and around town in a GT-R. After the initial "Holy !@#$ this thing is fast off!" wears off, it isn't a great drivers car. It rides rougher than it should, the clunky sounds coming from the transmission and overall feel of being…
Testarossa wasn't a Supercar. The F40 was.
I worked at Kirkham Motorsports and helped assemble the cars sent to the movie people. They wanted an aluminum bodied Cobra replica so that it would smash correctly. We shipped them in bare metal and the studio had them painted and outfitted. We shipped two cars, only one was smashed. The second one was later sold…
I really want to love the Aventador but the transmission is a fatal flaw. They need a real DCT. And, while I love the styling on this car for the most part, the side sills/rocker panel in black distracts from the lines. They should have made a two piece unit with the lower half black and the top part to blend into…
I have driven a real one. I even have part of the frame from an original one hanging over the door from my garage into my house.
Not quite...
Nope, it wasn't that one. It wasn't one of the big 3 auto magazines. It was a smaller publication if I remember.
I had a magazine with those pics in it. I especially remember the side boob looking away one. As a 13 year old boy it was a fascinating article that I could read over and over and over.
Hood vents and hood windows on the Chebbies are lame. Get rid of them.
The Malibu reminds me of a girl I dated in high school. Looks good from the rear but pretty homely otherwise.
I don't think it did 0-268 in less than a mile. I think it went 268mph for the flying kilometer.
My problem is that NBCSports is only available on the top tier of programming on Dish. That means I need to pay $30 more a month than I am currently paying to watch dish. Thats $360 a year that I am too cheap to shell out. Speed is only $10 more a month and I can live with that but sadly it isn't an option.
