No doubt. And especially when you think about schools already strapped for cash, if the insurance premiums really shoot up, it might not be viable any more. And I think the NFL in its current form has a lot to do with the quality of athlete, which in turn depends on having the largest possible talent pool to draw from.

I guess that is right, but it still seems so short-sighted to just pinch pennies now when the image of the league is in jeopardy.
