I would like to take a moment to point out that Bethesda has not made one good Fallout. All previous works, and the fantastic New Vegas, were done by someone else. In my eyes, this is par for the course for them regarding this franchise.

If the controls bother a player to the point of annoyance, then there is a problem with the controls. The game may have been designed around the controls, but for some people they ruin enjoyment and the immersion. That is a problem, not something that should just be taken as a feature. Yeah, I pushed through it with RDR, the game was too good not to. While I can get used to it begrudgingly, it’s still not ideal for me.

I am having the same issue. The incredibly bad controls are making me not want to play the game. It’s hard to be immersed when the character you are controlling keeps doing things tou didn’t want him to do.
