I mean King's estate not only okayed it, but was public about being happy to work with Epic and Time on it.

Oh I’m sure they’ll use CG for stuff like that and I think that’s fine, but that’s, like, normal CG, not “this character has very specific energy beams coming out of their hands and you have to make them look like they do in the anime so fans will like it but also make it look good when a live action person is doing

The guy always reminded me of Johnnycab:

I mean, NFTs are stupid, yes, but get off your high horse. Like Funko is any better? Or collector packaging and re-releases for movies that have already been released a half dozen times? Nerds gonna nerds.

Can you quit whining about a bussines you clearly don’t understand?

I loved it. I’m not that big of an Ariana Grande fan (She seems alright and I kinda like that My Favorite Things song a bit but I dunno if I could name another song by her). I really like the fact that it shift tones from fun to exciting to fantastical (I really loved the sliding bit and the plane bit for how exciting

Wow i think this is the first time ive seen Kotaku mention Adventure Quest, even if it was just AQ3D. I used to love that game and the other games by its devs.

Despite the grumpy commenters, and not having strong feelings one way or another about Ariana Grande, this is conceptually one of the coolest things I’ve seen in video games in recent years, and I would have been absolutely thrilled by it back in high school. Thank you.

I don’t know why but I get incredibly sad when I see photos of old (long dead) pets, especially cats. RIP to your dad, mom, and Helen.

Oof. Reminds me of the TVs we had after my dad’s death in Nov. 1974. Before that, we had an aging 19" B/W TV that was typical of the time (here’s a picture of it, with me at either 5 or 6, petting our cat Helen):

My grandparents had a similar style TV. I have photos of it.

yeah definitely needs to be said that its a scam made by an article spoofing the real polygon. starring both of you guys comments to get them out the gray

Listen I know Kotaku hates crypto and that is fine but there are a few things that could be clarified with some basic research.

Hey, please please please note that the link in there is a SCAM.

Bumping this for visibility - kill the link to the scam in the article.

Yea it wouldn't take much research to discover that the tweets and contest have nothing to do with crypto Polygon..

Just to be clear the airdrop tweets and website have absolutely nothing to do with the official Polygon (crypto) company or twitter account. This is a common scam (and a dumb that it works) among crypto currencies.
