Eh, people were going to be angry either way so might as well quiet them down for a year with the announcement.  Now we just wait for the first real teaser, then people can be angry about that.  Then it will launch which will REALLY make people angry, then it will be considered great.

I don’t like the sound of OCM? My least favorite missions from MW2 were the open ones with lots of tools and options. I like that the campaigns are cinematic and are just a straight forward shooter with interesting set pieces. Open games with lots of choices are super abundant right now, let me just turn off my brain…

The true answer is because it actually pays better for many people in third world countries.  If your option was play a shitty computer game or work at a shitty place for less pay what would you pick?
