While I understand what he's getting at, it's really hard to not read a phrase like "arsenic-based ethanol" without thinking "as a side effect, the sharks got smarter."

@Robotic-Richard-Simmons: Goose Island Mild Winter.
@Kotaku Renegade: Fallen Earth. Fallout meets EVE! Crafting-focused MMO in a post-apoc. setting, a setting that makes crafting actually reasonable! How could it...
@Anekanta - Re-Socialized Killbot: There's always an exception. Mike Royko, and (to a lesser extent) John Mortimer got involved in writing for the specific purpose of what they considered real work.
The best part is that he gets it. He actually gets it.
@madammina: The ability to read thoughts.
@DocSeuss: Spiders don't scare me.
@Yankton: Excalibur. When Arthur says "and I shall marry!", the look on his face is the sort of thing that only a great actor can pull off.
@mithrilfox: Jaws: Unleashed. I refuse to ever get rid of the game, just to always remember. To always remember.
All I can say is that the Steam sale has served it's intended purpose.
@GamingTheory: Lawyer? With the depth of that analysis, surely higher academics calls.

Ever since Pericles, democracies have held their soldiery up to higher standards in the pursuit of war, and ever since the Enlightenment, governments…
@bakagaijin: I think his point is that Wikileaks is the channel, not the source. Someone else is leaking the documents; he's just making them public. If Assange quits or gets executed or arrested or turns into a Morlock, that doesn't change the fact that someone out there leaked the documents in the first place.…
@Ghostwize: It may have to do with the paradigm shifting from "things we decided to add on later" to "parts of the game we made optional for more money." A lot of developers just haven't come to understand what DLC is best for, how it works.
"The atoll was chosen as the location of the dome due to a scientist mishearing the atoll's name as an order to 'ruin it.'"
@Nerubasasin19: Complete stops. Like, not the way that everyone stops a car at a stop sign, but actually wait for the feeling of momentum ceasing.
@Zer033: Very nice.
@Decoy_Doctorpus: RE: the tits, it is a game that's a pastiche of slasher horror; it might seem odd if they weren't in there, somewhere.
@HeroOfTomorrow is lonely: The scene is totally unrepresentative of the series as a whole. It's not even just out of context; it's an aberrant scene in the show itself, which is one of the reasons why it's memorable.
