I use my standard humidifier and add a small amount of bacteriostat to the water. Does the trick.

I have the ASUS WL-330NUL, the range is pretty great, I got it for around 30-40 on amazon, its small and compact and gets the job done. It can run off of a USB battery pack if worse comes to worse as well.
