I used to use KVM’s heavily, but as an industry I think we’ve moved largely to remote desktop for day to day and baseboard management tools for low level configurations. I believe, largely to that move, the home users have kind of followed suite as the other consumer grade tools have become so good and easy to use

Kind of curious as to which trail this is. It’s not like there’s a lack of information about the trails around here (Colorado), usually with details about clearance and risks. That said, it sounds like if the owners had just waited it out, they might have been perfectly fine with stock tires/wheels.

The carry on is exactly the maximum dimensions for most airlines (there are a few less strict like Alaska). Do you feel it’s tiny because of lack of interior space due to say the layout for the handle or wheels, or because you’re used to cheating on the carry-on rules with a bag larger than what’s normally allowed?

Simply put, that’s not a knife designed for killing. That’s a knife that’s design to sell to customers who want to see a more artistic take on the concept of a dagger. Kinda like a fantasy broadsword being sold at a renaissance festival, it’s a wall hanger or display case item. If the creator did design it for killing

Wow, I’ve had my Jeep Cherokee (2016 Trailhawk) in much more dramatic water than that. Hell, I took my ‘90 Eagle Talon Tsi through that much water and only lost the starter.

DOD also uses Bitlocker... They just typically use with with a startup PIN as well.

When using AES 128, I almost never notice an impact when implementing Bitlocker. When doing 256, I do see a performance hit. Nothing drastic, say 15%, but it’s there.

First off, there’s some very inaccurate information about Bitlocker here.

That’s why we have low range gearboxes, which it has. It’s usually less about running out of torque and more about running out of ground clearance.

I actually own a 2016 trailhawk, it’s a glorious thing to drive. The looks, ‘eh, their polarizing, but whatever. It’s very capable in the snow, muck and mud. I’ve been having fun in mind all winter in the rockies. I’m still waiting for the trails to thaw out, but where I’ve had the option, it crawls amazingly well.

Warranties. I can’t blame them for charging more for it as the 75 kWh packs will drop to an unacceptable performance before the 70 kWh pack. Assuming they do their software limiting intelligently a 70 will maintain being a 70 longer due to wear leveling / additional tolerances, so there will be less replacements

I bought one these a few years back. It’s been awesome. I can make a hearty stew that tastes like it’s been on the stove for 4-6 hours in 45 minutes. That said, even while they say it can double as a crock pot, it doesn’t do so well at keeping low temps (it always scorches it). It does however work as an exceptionally

I’ve not had any issues with AirPlay with my systems or any of my clients and I use it far more than most. I’d start off by uninstalling whatever airplay app you are using (AirServer/Reflector/etc) upgrading any wifi drivers (or if already current, delete any manufacturer provided drivers and use Microsoft’s), and

To put this into context, that data means optimizing paths through advertising including billboards, signs for businesses and how to best exploit user behavior. At this point, it isn’t strictly automated driving yet (that will come in later), but instead a in-dash navigation system that might “prefer” to send you

Having been raised on a ranch and having tasted pretty much any breed/condition of meat: a dairy producing BREED such as Holstein is perfectly fine to each, I don’t necessarily prefer it but there’s nothing wrong with it. However, eating an animal that is still producing milk is generally considered a big no-no.

So change it - that’s ideally how it works. But I would encourage you to find a way to do it in a positive way. That said, that may be the antithesis to your stance, deciding you know what’s better and trying to push it. And I’m not saying you don’t know better, but inactivity benefits no one, but do be fair enough to

Well, you’re certainly welcome to your own views. I’m just not sure how those views are actionable when it ultimately comes down to it. I can only assume you fall on the strict libertarian side of things and want to avoid any governmental interjections into your life, while also not wanting to contribute towards

It sounds like you kind of object to any form of societal governance. I mean, that’s your right if it is - there are entire political movements around that, but the whole plotting out a course for the greater benefit of society is kind of the point of legislation in general. From deciding that we’ll all drive on a

So, you’re main argument is that I shouldn’t have an opinion and should not, as a consumer and person who breathes air, want things to get better? Very original.

My stance is a whole let less about altruism and omniscience and a whole lot more about caring about myself - and that includes my air quality, safety and ability to have some fun driving.
