If that's the case, they aren't kept very long as mine were all empty. If they don't stick around indefinitely or at least at a prescribed interval, that makes for a pretty poor backup strategy. Like I said, I love the tool, as I synchronize my entire stack of lab VMs across multiple hosts with it and it's one of the

I love BTSync, but it's pretty useless as a file backup. If it's deleted at one location, it automatically deletes it at the other. It also doesn't have versioning so if you need to roll a file back to before you screwed up, it won't help.

It's a light source that can pass through a metal detector and emits no detectable signals.

I've been building systems since it was a big deal to upgrade to a 40mhz. That said, what everyone forgets to calculate is the value of a warranty. Sure, you might sit on a support line for 3 hours (or worse), but now days the really bad builders have gone out of business and those still out there have decent warranty

While most of my projects are per-project with actionable goals, I occasionally get a staff augmentation gig that's just we need 200 hrs of someone with the following skills. Either way a more appropriate way of wording this is that a Contractor is employed for a defined term, whether that term is by activities or

Just a heads up, many of the built in tools trigger Malware and Antivirus warnings. More or less the hackey nature of some of the tools being included such as Browser password crackers and such.

They have added a Google Docs Mirror for those who weren't able to download earlier.

Sorry, but this is pretty generic gear. I'm sure they are a SalesForce Admin, but that position is essentially saying "generic IT drone" especially judging from the gear. Two sets of headphones are now required?

I can't remember the exact statistic but out of the top 100 web sites (by traffic) something like 30% do not lock after any number of set attempts.

Regarding the users who mentioned biometrics:

They are not reliant on English passwords. You are just looking at a sample from an English Speaking country. I work in IT and occasionally in high security areas - we use ALL available dictionaries during analysis, even in combination form.

You realize that we use ALL available language dictionaries in security analysis. Hacking apps will try to use MeGustaRedVoitures I Like(Spanish) Red (English) Cars (French). If it's in any dictionary at all, it is no safer.

With the zombie chases, it's not your overall speed, but how much you increase it over what you were doing. I think it's designed to emulate doing sprints in the middle of your run, so you have to keep a reserve burst available and learn to pace yourself.

Sorry, but this is a lose - first, you won't always have one handy, second window clings come off in heat or if your defrost blows on them.

Whoa, I didn't know they made such a thing. Thank you for posting. I was in the market for a travel router and separately a usb ethernet adapter. This thing looks great!

Wow, this weirdly mimics most of mine although I do add a few items. I add an Ethernet cable, spare batteries for my phone and put all my bootables on thumb drives instead. I do less physical hardware stuff, so usually I'd also throw in a Lync Headset, headphones w/ Mic as backup if I have to take calls on Mobile

It's a bit of a pendulum to me. While I'm not a serious coder, I do manage enterprise (usually Microsoft) systems. Even the makers of the Visual Studio are pushing hard to use PowerShell (command line only) as your interface with systems. A bit of a tangent, but I think we keep seeing evolution on both fronts. While

I'm assuming this is a typo: "the app is not up on Google Play for anyone to try" and you meant "now" instead.

Unless you have a rooted phone or a MotoX the NFC radio is usually turned off when the phone screen is locked, so sorry, you can't. There are special updates for enabling that behavior on rooted phones, but even then it's not compatible across the board.
