As a person who lives at high altitude, anything that would eliminate the whole water not boiling at the same temperature sounds worth trying. When I lived at sea level, I had it down pat, no problems, but boiling water here isn't even close to 212F to it's a pain to get the right dwell time down.

Yes, it lacks the necessary additives to handle the flexation caused by driving. It won't bond to any plastic parts of the car properly and it also prevents repainting later on the road without siginificant expense.
