It really comes down to the price point. I'm sure all of us (even PSP haters) are excited to see a new portable, but if it costs as much as an iPad, it'll be slow to gain momentum.

If it were me, I'd have a "How Not To Be Seen" game that would actually be in the style of "Desert Bus." You only have a crouch button and you simply have to keep holding it....forever. If you stand up, you get shot or exploded.
I decided to actually keep a list this year of games I've beaten and so far I'm up to thirteen. Hopefully I can complete DQIX by the end of the month so not only will it go up to fourteen, but also it would make the list book-ended by DQ games. The first game I beat back in January was Dragon Warrior on the NES.
@urfe: Well with DKC, you know exactly what you're getting into. Ni no Kuni is a totally new experience, so I say have someone else buy the new hotness. That way, if it turns out to be not as hot as expected, you don't get hit with buyers remorse. :3

I, for one, would watch this video game Top Gear just for the "Star on a reasonably priced console" segment.
