I’m not a car guy and don’t care to “win’ as it were, so I have a hard time understanding why I should care at all about the 0-60 benchmark. Is it really just about bragging rights or is there any kind of real-world need* for such fast acceleration?

I’ve been using this metric for years to decide the overall monetary cost of games per entertainment dollar. That is, I buy what I think I will enjoy, play it, and then calculate the cost per hour to see how it stacked up. Sometimes it’s a good ratio, sometimes not, but overall it’s at least interesting.
