I don’t really do brunch, but I’d say it only happens on weekends and not typical work-days. If it’s happening during the weekday I’d argue that 12PM is a fine time for it because I think even Noon is too early for lunch...

I’m up at 6:30AM, and my workday begins at 8:30AM.

Late lunch is just early dinner.

I’ll take it one step further: any meal eaten before Noon is still breakfast.
