So, for clarification, are the very similar numbers that Geno and Fitz had when throwing to Decker supposed to prove that Fitz is somehow so much better? Cause a marginally better performance with roughly 8 more years of professional development and experience isn’t the strongest argument, I feel.

Definitely! As a Jets fan myself I’m praying we can follow the Denver Broncos model of a dominant defense and solid WRs somewhat covering up deficiencies on the QB side. And heck, the Jets are pretty good at RB too! I...IDK.

Last year Fitz was bailed out by Marshall and Decker. The best receivers Geno ever played with were Jeremy Kerley and Clyde goddamn Gates (Decker was banged up all of 2014 and the defense that year was terrible).

Smith beat Fitz in camp last year, Fitz wants roughly $50m a year and is about 100 years old and kinda terrible. I’m about 100% okay with going into the season with Smith over Fitz.
