I looked into this before I replaced the batteries on my cordless drills. I found out that a store like Batteries Plus can rebuild the battery with new cells for about the same price as the cells are online. While the article is true, this method costs about half of a new Dewalt or other brand name battery pack, it

I can live with this.... This is one person who is using personal and professional contacts to get paid. It's part of business.

I gotta disagree about the Big Chicken. Despite how it is undoubtedly an extremely large flightless bird, there is not a worse KFC in the country. I work at a trailer store 2 streets behind it, and I have not once ordered green beans and actually gotten green beans. In fact, I'm convinced that they don't actually have

Now playing

Bullshit. Despite the poorly photoshopped DVD cover, the move is amazing.

You know whats 40 times creepier than a ice cream van? I used to live across an intersection from a company that owned about 20 of them. During the summer they'd be out and about employing some poor college kid, but during the winter, they'd just sit there. Staring you down. Just looking unashamedly creepy. Like they

Vic Firth makes a pair for drummers that they sell now for $25. I have a pair now and they do not disappoint.

I prefer the Lovecraft. It's not for everyone, but it definitely makes an impression.

Agreed. They come in ventilated clamshell packages everywhere I go.

$400 dollars buys shiny but the design looks to be junk. I spent 2 years as a waiter and bartender in a 4 star Italian restaurant, and have been through every design (liquor reps are anxious to give away anything with their brand name).

I live in Georgia and I see this occasionally. Personally, I'm not into it. I think that it's important to respect the families and friends of the recently deceased, but life belongs to the living. I think that quietly yielding right-of-way is adequate.

I work full time and go to school full time, so I don't have much extra time. I tend to make big portions and freeze - in particular, pasta. I make about 4 gallons of pasta sauce at a time and freeze them in flexible silicone cupcake molds. I then pop em out and put them in storage containers. Reheats easy, easily

@wizzard419: I was thinking the same thing. We had a system like that in middle school that cost over a thousand dollars... In high school I put serious thought making some with BASIC stamps and reselling them - rigging a networking system together so you could have an unlimited amount of buttons, but I never did...

@BeerBuzzed: And yes, people don't drive slow in Atlanta. I simply want to keep it that way. If people drove the speed limit, no one could get anywhere, ever.

@BeerBuzzed: Going in to the actual city on 75 south is a 45 zone - where 75 and 85 merge.

@Hello Mister Walrus: I'll go ahead and say that it is the kind of laptop I want. If only it had a little better hardware inside than the average netbook and ran windows...

Am I the only person that doesn't like this idea?

PS3 Question: Me and my roommates all have PS3s (3 total). One of them is in the living room, 2 in bedrooms. Is there a way to network the user accounts, saved games, and online accounts so we can switch consoles without having to save stuff to a flash drive?

@killjarjar: fuck miss manners. There are certain driving errors that need to be remedied by the greater population for the common good.

@TinaSubpeona: if you're reading lifehacker and needed a tow truck to change a tire on your car, there is still a thing or two you need to pick up from the site.

Flying is no longer worth it. It's been slowly getting this for years, even before 9/11.
