Shove that engine in the back of a bmw 700.... wait....
I'd rather do it to something sexy like an E9, and add more torque.... oh wait, it's already been done.
Number one pisses me off. Once upon a time German nomenclature actually meant something. As did German reliability. Not in this day and age.
The Ti was carbed, the Tii was injected.
Your comments on the M235 were echoed in a conversation I had with a certain grassroots magazine editor the other day. Coolest bimmer since the clownshoe. Neat coverage of the vintage.
As a former jalop-intern and current member of the Ireland Engineering goon squad I must insist you email me in regards to your '02.
I'm directly responsible for outsourcing some parts to different Chinese manufacturers and have had the same experience as GT40 with initial results and parts turning out fantastic while steadily declining and costing me much more on this end. I can't tell if you're serious or not about the S14 vs S50b30US comment...... either way you made me chuckle.
Your welcome (and get some food because its going to be a while)

whoop. link didn't work
Ima gunna let you finish an all, but Joe Reynolds took the FIA Historic Rally Championship for the second year in a row in a 1600.
I had a long articulate dissertation about how awful this car is.... but then I realized I was trying to convince myself when I really think its plain freaking awesome.
