Mostly agreed, but I'd swap 4th into last place.

More Honda ingenuity: my 91 Integra had both an ash tray AND a coin tray.

You'll also kill any "rare car" resale value down the road by changing the color.  Wraps are the way to go.

Right. My point was that everything these days is relatively powerful, because consumers do want faster cars. My wife’s 117hp Honda Fit is both faster and more powerful than many entry level sporty cars  not much more than 10 years ago.  That used to be the kind of power you got from the sportier models of econoboxes,

175hp isn’t a barn-burner, but it isn’t exactly low either. Think about the fact that 35 years ago the 5.7L V8 Corvette was making 180hp.  25 years ago the Miata barely made 100hp.  And most Subarus made less than that.

I actually considered using the clown shoe M Coupe as my example, because while it might be a great performer, it sure is ugly.

Meanwhile at BMW...

I have an NSX, and I still miss my slow old Integra LS sometimes. It was a fun car that completely changed my viewpoint about FWD.

Sounds like they decided for you.

You mean because Toyota isn’t making it, BMW is?

Nobody remembers the Supra before the 4th gen. Thanks F&F.

I have the same problem with comic book movies. They tease them so far in advance I've lost interest before they even come out.

When I came up behind a Civic Type R on the road a while back, I thought it was a WRX STI until I got close.

There are, but it's a good example of how nearly all cars have grown over time.

Stolen from Facebook but relevant...

Stolen from Facebook, but relevant... well, would be if I could attach pictures. Kinja seems to be broken right now,. I can’t upload or attach by URL. https://rednsx.org/tmp/NSXvsCTR.jpg

I was intentionally twisting your words, as your comment read a bit differently to me before the edit.

It sounds like a great way to travel except for one thing: having to drive it.
