Acura isn’t really the last holdout, since they sold the first turbocharged Honda since the 80's Honda City Turbo over 20 years prior, the 2007-2012 RDX. If anything they got in on the trend early, they just didn’t stick with it. Probably because buyers preferred the V6 in their luxury please-don’t-call-it-a-minivan

Poor Adam.

I saw the original post but didn’t think I had any good stories, but i just thought of one. I was running late on my way to work and doing 10 over through a suburban residential area where they are strict about that, which turned out to be a bad time for it because there was a cruiser parked on the side of the road.

Yep. My wife’s 2009 Fit’s mirrors are not angled at all, but they are significantly wider than the ones on my 25 year old Acura. Whenever I have taken it in for service in the last few years, the loaner cars have had mirrors which are partly angled. So mirrors have actually improved in recent years, at least on

What about them makes it look like a kit car? We’re not talking about a Diablo here. I think that as far as headlights go they are arguably the best looking and most well-integrated into the design of any Lamborghini.

If you look up the specs you see that the Mustang’s wheelbase is 3mm (~0.1") longer than the hatchback Integra.

Still “everyday supercar”-ing, 212,000 miles later. Just popped in to the dealer for an oil change (I live in a condo so I don’t have a place to work on the car myself).

If they sold a Fit Si, it would quickly become the new entry level ricertuner car. If they put the 200hp 1.5 turbo from the Civic Si in it, it would be a rocket. They would sell way more $25K Fit Sis than $40K CTRs.

It doesn’t really have a modern equivalent now. The CR-Z is dead.

Drive an NSX, never waved at an Integra. Though if I saw one wave at me, I would wave back.

I used to try to always pass people on the left, but the way most people drive these days, I have given up. No light flashing, not even getting close, I’ll just pass them on the right with changing lanes well in advance when possible.

From these pics, I think the Corrado looks great from quarter angles, but straight on from the side it looks like it’s been broken in half and the back half was not re-attached straight.

Yeah, but then there’s that whole thing where most of the major crashes are one of the Asian airlines...

It’s like the people who say “never touch another man’s car” but then applaud when someone throws a rock at a Lamborghini, because screw that rich dude.

I think there’s an argument to be made that every generation of GT-R is uglier than the last. The R35 is simply continuing the trend.

Shouldn’t the beaten path be where you find the most chargers? Or is “beaten path” a new shorthand for “off the beaten path” with the opposite meaning of what it sounds like?

There appeared to be plenty of other cars on the road. How did that go on for 4 miles without anyone trying to get the truck driver’s attention?

You forgot Acura. Both the Integra (-01) and RSX (02+) were built in the early 2000's. Also the Celica was still around then too.

Funny timing, I saw one of these parked on the street when I was walking home yesterday. I realized I hadn’t seen one in quite some time. Too bad I didn’t stop to take a picture.

Plate spotting was a thing when I lived in Hong Kong. There’s even a Google Plus group dedicated to it, I posted quite a few there when I lived there.
