It was ahead of most modern cars on fun.

This isn’t really a road rage story, I just thought it was at first.

No argument on people using the shoulder then trying to merge their way back in (who actually lets these people in?) being assholes, but...

In New York, they regularly shut down parts of the train service late at night. Even though the trains theoretically run 24/7, you may have to wait 30 minutes or more for a train late at night anyway. May as well just take the bus (if you’re not a tourist and know the appropriate bus to take)...like you would have

Ever notice that all the press photos show it with the headlights on? I think there’s a reason for that. Without them, it looks like it’s eyes are crossed:

They should have called it the Mini Creeper.

Is it an xi? AWD is the only thing that could explain that sort of drivetrain loss.

I had my NSX dyno tested shortly after I bought it with over 120,000 miles. It put down 243hp to the wheels, which means either 11% drivetrain loss, or it made more power than the rated 270hp.

Not surprising, considering it had a 5 star crash test rating.

If you look at the price as tested, it’s actually closer to $100K.

Good job comparing apples to oranges.

Agreed. I almost got hit by a guy going the wrong way down one of those new one-way bike lanes (on the one-way streets) downtown. Good thing I always look the opposite way, just because I know there are so many awful bicyclists downtown.

A clean E30 may increase in value, but one that’s lost it’s original drivetrain will not. Modified cars are basically worthless. Therefore, it’s CP, no matter how nice of a swap it may be.

Bentley has discovered how to end range anxiety.

He also wants driver engagement. Modern non-M BMWs are a competent, but boring.

In that case, an S2000 is probably going to be even worse.

I don’t get why anyone would import one of these rather than buy one that is LHD. The NSX was the original usable Supercar, making it wrong-hand-drive is just going to make it less usable.

And a lower 7500 rpm redline. Part of the fun with the NSX is hearing that V6 screaming at 8000 rpm.

Now playing

You realize, of course, different people are going to have different ideas as to what sounds good. Some personal favorites of mine...
