I’m with you! The meta-jokes and touchy feels were fine to a point, but unlike every other Marvel movie before, this one literally went nowhere new, and was far short on the action too. Every other film visited new worlds, introduced new characters, had exciting scenes in strange places. The only new element here was

Yeah, I know what you mean. I didn’t take my girls but I am sure they’ll get a kick out of it. Even though I am on the fence about the movie overall, it was enjoyable for those moments.

I get what you’re saying about that girl power moment.  Waaaay to zeitgest-y.  There had to be a way to create that scene without hitting one over the head with it.  Less dialogue could have certainly been more effective in the long run while still being the exact same scene.

No kidding - a huge battle is underway and all the ladies just happen to be together at that time? Okay...

Let’s face it, the majority of the “big name” heroes who have all the best powers are the guys. (I’m not complaining. Iron Man’s my favorite.) Regardless, the most popular female characters—Black Widow and Gamora—don’t even have powers.

I saw the all girl team-up starting to happen, and did a eye roll of epic proportions. In my head, I was like “really?!!!”.

Then I look down and to my right at my 6 year old daughter and she leaps to her feet with her fist in the air and high-fives my wife.

Unfortunately strokes ar are not that uncommon in relatively young people Luke Perry was only 52 and having hypertension like Singleton put him in the high-risk category.

I see the “lottery is for losers” contingent have shown up.

There is no dream job. The dream is not having to work.

There are a million ways to save money. Not buying lottery tickets is no better or worse than most of them. You can save money not buying your lunch. Or coffee. Or going to a matinee. Not taking a vacation. Clipping coupons.

And I take it he didn’t have the option to give the stone back in exchange for Natasha?

so much of this movie is plotholes.

But, but, but everything was better* back in the 50s, Albert!

Who gives a shit if they didn’t lose once

Ask any player or manager if they’d rather have City’s season last year or Arsenal’s invincible season and see what they say.

City set the league on fire, orchestrating easily the greatest Premier League season of all time

At least he stopped calling everything a bicycle kick.  I mean you could call that progress.

I’ve never seen a writer make a shitty argument (check his earlier VAR work) and then follow it up time and again trying to defend it with even shittier arguments.”

When Gooners are in the same corner as Spurs fans....well you know its a bad take
