Not exactly... there are a few really clean base ones on the eBays for reasonable prices. Especially if you are like me and just want the car but plan on swapping the motor and trans out for something a bit hotter.

Could not agree more. Some of the best episodes of TG were when they had to get from X to Y in some pile of crap they bought for a budget. Absolutely loved the budget super car, cheap Porsche/Alfa/RWD episodes. One of my favorites was the 70’s British Leyland test. Imagine if TG USA didn’t suck and they had to test…
