Almost every other publisher out there is very good about releasing their PC version at the same as the console versions. (And their PC versions are sometimes even well-optimized for the platform!) I find that the PC versions of AC have been getting progressively better. AC Revelations was really nicely done, and the extra draw distance made the big city look absolutely fantastic. I expect that AC3 will be among their better efforts at the very least.
And 21 days until AC3 comes out on PC. :(

GMG is pretty amazing sometimes. I got steam keys for BL2 and the season pass for like ~$48 total by (ab?)using those reusable "25% off everything" voucher codes.

The Last Remnant is $15 on Steam (and that's without any sort of sale price; you can probably get it even cheaper elsewhere). All PC copies of TLR have to be registered on Steam, so there's really no point in paying Square more money.
Pretty much everything about Windows 8 is a good reason to dismiss Windows 8. He was just talking about one aspect of it, and it probably isn't the only thing he dislikes about it.
