With this news, I’m a bit worried that there is something else. Some other allegation that’s being punted around and hasn’t fully surfaced.
And I was so looking forward to Barrowman’s Big Finish.
I think the appeal of the story is its weirdness and ambiguity - and the masses of buildup paired with unsatisfying anticlimax is kind of part of that. Aside from that, interesting bits include:
I know your comment is snarky and not aiming at Tesfai, but let’s not dunk on a Black woman or the crew for the character’s hairsyle.
Also has anyone ever considered that Kanan might just of had a tan from hanging out on desert planets?
Not to mention, Jeremy Irons not giving a fuck.
Netflix has released a teaser for 1899, the new series from the creators of Dark about a ship of immigrants who encounter a ghost ship en route to the United States.

“Some people might say, ‘Oh, it would’ve been so cool to see Doctor Strange,’” Feige told Rolling Stone. “But it would have taken away from Wanda, which is what we didn’t want to do. We didn’t want the end of the show to be commoditized to go to the next movie—here’s the white guy, ‘Let me show you how power works.’”
Prediction: audiences avoid them like, well, you know
I assume it’s the same folks who would swoon over ‘Mr Grey’ (Gray?).
People who live a safe, bored life so are attracted to the thought of darkness and danger when it comes wrapped in a pretty package without thinking it out that you can actually have the traits they really want (intensity, passion,…
I think you are point blank correct. I’ve worked as a line producer, and that involves breaking down the shooting script into a schedule with X amount of days devoted to shooting scenes by location/set. Movies and mini series like these are shot based on how long a location is needed to shoot everything in the script,…
I was obsessed with Tom Swift Jr. books when I was a kid. I had (and still have) most of them, and the ones I didn’t have were available at the local library. It was only later that I found out/figured out that all the “science” in them was mostly bullshit. A lot of my obsession had to do with the fact that Tom looked…
My problem with Sharon isn’t her reveal as the Power Broker so much as...her plan such as it is just doesn’t make any sense. If she’s harboring the guy who can make more super soldier serum, why lead Sam, Bucky, and Zemo to him? She could have just as easily said “dude I don’t know” and kept the serum for herself.
The sinister “Power Broker” of the criminal haven who put the supersoldier serum in the Flag-Smashers’ hands in the first place was none other than Sharon herself.
But because he went from bad—comically, horrifyingly so—to good his sins have already been forgiven (it remains to be seen what Valentina de Fontaine is really up to with him), but the episode explicitly frames Walker’s arc as a heroic one.
As am I, although Shang Chi is beating him to the punch by a few years
The fact that the creative team behind this absolute sloppy hot mess of a show is writing the movie drains me of any desire at all to watch it.
