It has happened. It can happen:

He and Ivanka got chummy at the inauguration. He subsequently invited her to visit the Supreme Court and hear a case argued. I wouldn’t be surprised to find out that Ivanka influenced his retirement decision.

Samantha Bee called the 2010 election the biggest failure on the part of Dems/progressives in decades. It’s as if, after voting Obama into office in 2008, people said, “Mission accomplished” and went to sleep. That allowed the tea baggers to take control of Congress and start blocking anything that Obama tried to do.

“A Harley-Davidson should never be built in another country-never!”

I think he was trying to stay within Twitter’s 280 character count limit.

In regards to the unemployment rate number, which Trump is touting, the reason that the number is so low is NOT because people have found jobs. It’s because people have dropped out of the job market, and thus don’t count as “unemployed.” That is not something to be crowing about as an accomplishment.

“If Mr. Trump had his own house in order, his attacks on Democrats might carry more weight. But his failure to nominate promptly, to vet carefully and to choose nominees with appropriate qualifications bespeaks a contempt for government that demeans him and his administration.”
