Ah, that makes much more sense! Sounds more than a little shady, but at least I can follow it now. Thanks for the clarification!

Am I misunderstanding something? They set aside money to help games on Kickstarter, but somehow didn’t have the money? Was this money not collected at the end of the KS campaigns? I’m not sure if the wording is off or Ouya somehow backed out of a pledge they’d already had collected, or what.
Can’t blame you at all. Getting paid to be ignored must be frustrating. :P
Yeah, that’s my default. Or the cases where QA told them multiple times something was wrong and they pushed it through anyway.
People blame QA testers? Why? They’re some of the worst paid workers in the business, and this is already an industry where people essentially accept that they’ll be underpaid in order to do something they love doing.
Yeah, Carter’s DMR on the one friend’s keeps popping off. Not sure if it’s actually broken, would be a damn shame if it is.
Standing by this one. The Reach statue was amazing - several friends have it, and I kick myself for not doing so.
The issue is not wasted money: it’s wasted time.
I see your point, I’m sure they could make it work though. Hell, giving DKs a headstart with access to most of their cards off the bat is even thematically appropriate. :P (I kid, but it would fit the starting experience.) Same with Monks - people expect them both eventually, and as long as they take their time with…
I’m sure, but I was reading it as the Argent Tournament as a full zone as opposed to just Trial. The Tournament itself is waaay more appealing than just one subpar raid.
For anyone finding the wording a bit finnicky - expansions and adventures can be purchased with gold or IRL money, but what you buy depends - with adventures you buy individual wings (or the whole/remaining adventure for one price that isn’t in gold), with expansions it’s solely packs. Sorry if it seems like pedantry,…
Raids are adventures, not expansions. :P Gnomes vs Goblins was an expansion, Naxx and Blackrock were adventures. If this doesn’t lead directly into Icecrown and a possible DK hero I’d be surprised.
Pizza Dog alone sells this series.
I’d disagree, for the simple reason that of three introduced alternate maps/gametypes, one is a botfest (Dominion), one is largely ignored (Treeline), and ARAM is fun but largely a casual-only mode - you’d never see ranked games happening on the Abyss. It’s sort of like a console Pokemon release; everyone says one…

I guess that’s fair, but it just seems like a lot of rereleases do similar and don’t get the same sort of backlash.
[insert obligatory joke about Prototype being the name because it’s not finished]
When you say warrior, can you elaborate? Are they bundling an actual HotS hero with the game? Because that’s god damned neat, unless it’s somehow an exclusive (and since they aren’t insane, I don’t see it being one).
This. I’m about as anti-preorder as it gets, but I’ll still preorder Blizzard games - I know I can trust them not to fuck it up, OR fix it if they do; Warlords of Draenor launch was a bit of a mess with queues, but they weren’t expecting nearly as many resubs as they got, and they were quick to comp players for their…
The Tribunal is coming back eventually, should solve a lot of the issues. The original system was SUPER flawed and was missing important information like champion select chat. We’ll see!
