I don't know what you consider most, but as someone living in of one of the most populated areas of Canada, we didn't have stable internet for a non-restrictive cost until about 2009.

Pretty much. I'm still shocked that they didn't put out a Kinectless option, to be frank. They could have matched the price point for the PS4 in that situation, which probably would have done them wonders. As it stands, even coming from a long-time 360 fan, PS4 totally has the upper hand. XD

I'm inclined to agree, but to be honest I feel like they took it out because they just realized there's too many issues/loopholes with the concept right now, as opposed to just being passive-aggressive about it. With the amount of goodwill they lost with the initial reveal, it's hard for me to believe they'd go for

The twitter post makes me think even less of his reaction to this than I did before. "AND BY THE WAY, THAT THING I CANCELLED? FREE VR MINECRAFT, NOW WHO'S THE SILLY ONE?"

I used to think there was no better display of people acting like a company owed them something than the demands to change the ME3 ending (Yes, it was bad, threatening a creative team in order to get your way is still childish, and even the good aspects like the fundraiser were pretty passive-aggressive).

"The animation can't be that bad, he's just being judgemental about-"

They... didn't encourage it at all. He said that he owns two retail copies (one of which I'm assuming is the HD version, or else he wouldn't bother counting a second copy) but that he prefers to play it another way. It's not piracy if you own a copy of the game. It's also hard to believe anyone who reads Kotaku is

"In all honestly, if you're as sour and joyless in real life as you seem in your comments, you must be one hell of a lonely person."

We'll get there someday.

It's not this one instance at ALL. I've been reading comments for a while now, hence my comment about disagreeing with his general point of view - I think he tends to be a little negative. But hey, feel free to dispense insults if that makes you feel better about someone disagreeing with you. Have a nice day yourself!

Dude, I don't even agree with his point of view and I still think you're overreacting. If anyone comes off as "sour and joyless", it's the one shooting his mouth off about someone who "must be lonely". He said that the developer in question is a bit of a hypocrite, and then went on to say that HE IS STILL EXCITED FOR

Whether or not you said no 3DS games were multiplayer, you complained about the possibility of a game that exists basically AS multiplayer not having it. So.

Yeah, it was less a matter of multiplayer quality or its impact on the game itself, but that there's this attitude of every game NEEDING it. ME3 at least made an attempt to make it relevant to the game, and I can applaud the concept if not the execution, but The Last of Us was a game that just absolutely doesn't need

+1 to this, kind sir. It's disappointing how many games have tacked-on multiplayer segments, even non-FPS like ME3 and Last of Us.

As funny as it is, I can see it. I've been playing for 3 years now and I only just came within spitting distance of Silver last season. Ignoring the usual excuses like idiot teammates (Bronze IV had better players with calmer attitudes than Bronze I, riddle me that), a lot of it is that I simply don't bother with

Can we take a second to appreciate that if you run around constantly kicking, you're basically doing the can-can? I basically lost my shit when I realized it during the beta.

I don't see why it wouldn't, it's the same sticker from the regular ones.

It's like the people that say "Oh, X isn't scary" when discussing horror games. That's subjective as anything, since different things scare different people. It accomplishes nothing except establishing that the person saying it probably needs an ego boost.
