I had a baby. I had a car. I drove with my baby in his car seat. I occasionally filled my car tank with gas. I never fucking left my baby in the car, in the car seat, while I left the car. Period.

I can not imagine this. I have cried three times after reading this elsewhere. I had a son and when he was a baby, there wasn't a chance in hell he wasn't in my mind 24 hrs a day. I can't comprehend how a person forgets about a 22 month old child. I don't have the capacity in my mind to go there.
