When quadcopters descend straight down, the four propellers actually create a kind of vortex underneath the craft that causes the props to suddenly lose lift. Then it starts to fall faster, which causes the props to work harder, which creates an even stronger vortex, and so on and so forth until it crashes.

Well, this one time, I accidentally released too much antimatter into the warp core and yada, yada, core breach, containment failure, yada, yada, everyone died. At least I can say I tried my best and really, isn't that all that matters?

I was installing a processor in my friends computer. I didn't line up the arrows. Turned it on and was greeted with a puff of smoke. Luckily it wasn't a big deal to them.
