Agreed on Scarlet, especially given that she has such a distinctive voice. Karen Gillan, I don't know. I'll have to check her out on IMDB.
Oh man. Now I'm going to spend the rest of the morning daydreaming about who I'd want to see cast as a female McLean. My first thought is of course Sigourney Weaver, because I adore her as an action hero, but that's too easy.
Exactly what i was going to say, Ocean's 11 for instance would be pretty boring if you knew the entire plan, then watched the plan go off seamlessly. Double points for pointing out Skin Game though, the twist in that really surprised me and made me re-read the book again that weekend.
I wasn't floored, but I did thoroughly enjoy Firefight. Yeah, I called some of it, but there was plenty I didn't guess ahead of time, and that's what makes me keep reading books that Sanderson writes.
You should read the sequel, Firefight, which just came out on the 6th. The ending had me floored.

If Logan had died in Japan, the bear would have been required by nature’s law to get a passport, fly to Tokyo, and take on the Yashida corporation by himself. It would have been a very different movie.
That wasn't Sharknado, that was Super Shark. Yes, I am ashamed that I could tell that from just one second-hand description.
I did have it on the treadmil TV at the gym last night while I was running. But I was listening to an AudioBook.
Maybe a "State of the Future" article from each of your contributors once in a blue moon.
Last night on Once Upon A Time, we learned the backstory to Ruby, aka Red Riding Hood. It was filler of the highest…
