i was kind of expecting to see the ball as the tazer, so if you touched it you would get shocked... so i guess i was thinking of dodge ball instead of soccer and then the logistics of what i thought dont work, cause how would it be kicked or thrown without the ball affecting the user.

Astrid needs a better agent. She had one scene and then there was some random lady FBI person at the end who was tasked to run an errand. Why not have Astrid do that too?
