I read the first narnia book. I know the general background but never was interested in watching the movies past the first one on the big screen, but they were on netflix.

What I would like to read is something that I can obsess over in a huge epic series... like Saga of the Seven Suns, Evolutionary Void, Hyperion, Sundiver, Wheel of Time, etc...
