@jabber: As long as they don't have operational weapons or ones that could be made operational, it's just scrap. No rules other than the normal ones for purchasing decommissioned/scrapped items off the government.

@Annalee Newitz: No, it's a fairly common slang.
@LOMDR: Yes, I know. But I believe that is an actual issue with the 'official' code, not with the textures supplies.
@aak7268: I think you mean sadistic, masochistic is someone who is into being beat.
@LOMDR: I believe that glitch is actually a side effect of the fact that Notch forgot to finish the coding for 'biome compliant' grass.
@Clixx13: Consider the Painterly Pack. It is native resolution, same size as the default textures.
@Silentkiller2774: No, that's from B45's link. Someone coded up a ray tracer renderer for the map files. It looks like crud when moving, but when you stand still...
@Deez: Thing is, it's currently a bit more like "NES meets SNES" in the graphics department. Too many 'solid shade' blocks, things like armor having zero detail to them.
@B45: Momma.
@slotter: Simple fix, someone will make a 'classic minecraft' texture pack that looks exactly as the game does now. Install it, and hello simple charm!
@Hammo: This is from a modification that allows larger moon textures. Not arguing, just looked like a nice spot for a partial non sequitar.
On one side of the coin. YAY! Now the default graphics will have some umph to them!
If I may make a suggestion for people for future use.
@majornougat: That was a bug from last night's client. It's been fixed in the patch that was released this morning.

@Superlocke: One thing that can really boost your speed is regenerating worlds till you spawn near a mountain/large hill. Often the act of carving a 'home' into one will lead you to a number of resources like iron and coal for 'improved performance'
@Arc-: This now in! Legends 3 is no Minecraft! News at 11!
@Ninety-9: And room for THREE more! THREE!
@curlycarlos: You can now, just via save editors.
@Kenneth Blaney: This happens now, however you pretty much have to 'be there' when it does.
