@DarknessLord: Diamond only spawns in something like the seven levels above the adminium level (picture 'lifted' from this excellent mining guide.)

@Brodka: regrettably:While your words could indicate you are happy about the 'no reverting to old saves' thing of minecraft, just in case it's become a negative to you, I'll leave this link just sitting here for now.

@Robert Guidry: Seasons won't be in game this go around. They are planned.

@omicron1: He's mentioned he's open to the idea of growing the world up and down, but unfortunately it's a technical issue with rendering/simulating it. It'd probably require not 'shrinking' the world latterally as much as shrinking how much is rendered in the horizontal plane to open up enough "CPU" for the increased

@BlackApertureLabs: C418 is the person behind the sound of Minecraft, in case you are in the mood for more.

Now playing

@Faux Bravo: Down and up have hard limits. If you go down you'll eventually run into adminium, unbreakable blocks of stone. They'll often be gaps in them though, and if you find one you'll see a bright blue sky below. Fall in and you die, falling forever.

@BillyMurdock: I built my first max height outpost away from my main spawn this weekend. Wasn't really intending to at the start, just got caught outside far enough away to want shelter. Since I was working with the material at hand at the start, the pretty much everything up to the last three levels had dirt floors

@Aquilix: If you like your current map, it's possible to save the 'seed' that was used to generate it and recreate it 'biome' style, from what I've read. You'd loose any thing YOU'VE done in it. But you'd still have the same landscape with the new biomes.

@bluebogle: It's a 'glitch' of the map generation code. Typically when you get it in a map the rest of the land is 'odd' as well. For instance the map I currently have it in is filled with steep mountains that are concave on one side (like a C).

@Skunky: He has said that the new biomes will be generated in any new land made in your current save files. So you won't necessarily have to start over if you are willing to have your starting area remain the 'default' biome.

@GiantEnemyCat: This is the Halloween update, or rather the Halloween update contains this. But I agree.

@bobojuice: My only foray into the realm of dedicated headsets was previous in this year when I put $90 down on a pair that claimed to be surround sound. Got them home, turns out that they weren't even 'virtual' surround sound but instead mimicked it by attempting to guess where a sound in a stereo source was located.

anyone know of a Usb based solution that lets you do virtual surround while plugging in your own headphones?

@sean000: Ubertip: Scroll all the way to the top of the page. See the banner? Guess what it mean.

@mikestopcontinues: I haven't gotten a single tiddly to the size where that mattered to me, but hopefully this link to an old solution would work for you.

@GREGORYABUTLER10031: Did you read my comment or just skim it long enough form a complete sentence?

@ravella_the_riverboat_queen: Playing devil's advocate for a second.

@missheidilynn: The matter of consent is currently the matter which is in question, I believe.

@sequined: An assessment based purely on the information released by the prosecutors, did you expect his assessment to be different than it was?
