Yeah, you're right that the important thing is finding the common ground. And no, not everyone is going to love every type of car. I'm just throwing out there that (sans a complete mutual disdain for a vehicle) it'd be better off if there was a little more respect (or a little less butthurt) between different subsets

I agree with you wholeheartedly on every point. Unfortunately, I have a tough time convincing my buddies (not always true car-guys/people) who are from Ford or GM families the same, as well as Prius-touting ecowarriors and those who have seen Fast & Furious far too many times. Maybe these would just be considered our

While this is beautiful story in its own (and I've had a few moments like this myself that seem to melt away all the other divisive bullshit on a common ground of rockhard car-love), we all have our own prejudices within the enthusiast community.

As a proud WRX owner, I LOL'd when I got to Subaru. True enough, fair enough.

Needs more Thailand.

I tried to heartclick you and it won't let me. So here is your theoretical heartclick.

Ah yes, because the American Muscle crowd are nothing but smiles and intelligent remarks.

Aaaaand a heartclick for you.

What about the good ol' pull-the-bullet-out-with-your-teeth-like-a-badass maneuver?

The Autobahn Gear is perfect description for what I can imagine the 7th gear would truly be useful for. You should trademark that and sell it to Porsche's marketing team.

I like how for this article on a Cadillac EV, the very first related story is "Why aren't black people driving electric cars?" #unintentionalracism?

Sounds like the 401 (Ontario). With exception of a very few, I've never had an issue with any semi driver on I-75. It seems like the only assholes driving on that freeway are the ones in F-150s, Fusions, and mid-90's Eclipses... hmmm...

The high offset in the rears could be easily fixed. I don't honestly mind the taillights all that much. I agree they could've probably done better, but overall they're still sufficient enough to fit the overall flow of the bodylines.

"All I can say is if you dont have the skill to do it, dont." And by skill, you mean severe mental deficiency, right?

Bang on. Nomination for #COTD.

OK, I'm going to reiterate this since it's obviously going way over your head: you stated it was anecdotal. I presented that fact that it has been documented by scholars and professionals. You disregarded it and then proceeded name-calling. You can try to appear intelligent all you want, but your vocabulary is not a

@SCarter01 And one of the posters made that connection and you dismissed it as anecdotal. Don't piss in my ear and tell me it's raining. Second of all, resorting to childish tactics as calling someone a "moron of epic proportions" does not make you appear smarter than them. Though I hope it made you feel better about

@SCarter01 A subconscious preference towards light skintone imposed by society is not just anecdotal, it's called the 'colonial mindstate' and it is well-documented in anthropology and social psychology. Don't believe me? You don't need to be 'educated' to use Google. Sorry, but crossing your fingers and pretending

Ba-zing!

I think if they would've done it in post, the car would be green, unless they isolated the license plate with a mask. Maybe it's a special plate, like race only or limited driving, similar to what they have for classics (though I don't know why the Subie would have one)?
