Woj must have pictures of a lot of people. Not that this is some huge scoop or anything, but he is consistently first on virtually every big (and little) NBA story.

What does her age have to do with it? I think alderwomen have a lot to offer and we can still learn a lot from them.
By itself I do think it is an overpay, but I acknowledge that in the context of MLB salaries, it’s probably right around market. I mean, the Mets just guaranteed Asdrubal Cabrera $18.5 million. Let that sink in for a minute.
Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me — also available as a podcast — can be pretty funny / entertaining.
I think you are making my point (even if your 1.0 WAR = $7m seems a little off to me): Heyward’s 2015 WAR of 6.5 was roughly 2/3 of Harper’s and Trout’s 2015 WAR. If the going rate in MLB is ~$23m/year for 6.5 WAR, then Harper and Trout are looking at $35m-$40m a year when their numbers come up (in 2015 dollars). If I…
Podcasts are spectacular for commuting, especially if you have multiple stops along the way (drive to train, ride train, switch train, walk to the office, etc.). Obviously commuting offers good reading time, but a podcast is uninterrupted from start to finish, even when you are driving, walking, switching, etc.
If Jason Heyward is worth $185 million over 8 years, the U.S. Mint is going to have to introduce a new coin with Mike Trout’s face on one side and Bryce Harper’s on the other.
If there were a rule that made it legal to carry the ball with your tongue, that doesn’t mean it would be wise to try.
The first one is the exception that proves the rule. The rest, especially the second, are fucking perfect.
“Tap A Keg and Crank Up the Seger” is like the O negative of blog posts; you can add it to anything and it will pretty much work.
Fair point, though WAR is starting to get a little overplayed in terms of its significance, in my (and Tom Verducci’s!) opinion. The Cubs exchanged a young guy with a bright but uncertain future for a solid guy whose very best years are probably behind him. If you want to call it a wash, fine. And, I agree with…
Says you, Tom. I say there is no way the Marlins willingly get caught up in any more netting.
Not trolling, but I just don’t see it. What has really changed about this team? They have an other-worldly offense and respectable starting pitching even after their ace (who, let’s just assume for sake of argument is not going to regress to the mean in 2016 despite never winning more than 10 games before 2015). They…
You’ve got a better chance of getting some speed with Latin and African-Americans. I’m not being racist. That’s just how it is.
He’s been solid in the building over the last couple of weeks . . .
DeMarco Murray is competitive, high-character player who must feel abilities not being used fully and promises not fulfilled. In tough spot
I am in for $100, too. (For real: I will e-mail Barry separately if you want to take me up on it). Fuck this guy and the indifference shown to his abject bigotry and hatred. It was funny for a minute. Now it’s not. Time for the grown-ups to shut this shit down.
Sue who? Sue me! Sue everybody! For punitive damages, sir. I’m very, very hurt by you.
Track prides itself on nice manners.
