Nah, there's plenty of folks out there that loved 13, probably which is why they made 2 more games in the series. Most of these fans I talk to are newcomers to Final Fantasy.

That's how most successful companies handle "issues". It's only recenly that we're seeing this in the gaming industry.

As more people download the game to see what the fuss is about, EA counts them as the "number of people who are downloading the game and having fun."

All the points you've mentioned in this post are extremely valid (including the over-representation bit). I won't argue further. Reading your last paragraph however, makes me sad. If you honestly believe you can enjoy this game, with or without paying money I guess it's not my business anymore.

To be fair, I watched the anime before playing, so I know the whole story... Not sure I like the game/story enough to visit it a third time on the vita lol.

13-2 was made to have that effect, glad it worked out for you :) I hated 13-2 because of the lame ass main characters, including villains and whole time space thingy was lost on me.
