I do agree that VC2 was a massive grind if you were trying to get your soldiers into a specific type of class, but that aside I felt the writing was pretty neat. It wasn't as dark as the previous one and every character had an interesting story to tell (esp Reiner and his friend Sigurd)! I haven't finished the game…

It would've been popular if they'd have the courage to spend good money on developing it and release it on consoles not PSP. Look at what happened to Valkyria Chronicles 2, such a shame, a lovely game but doomed because it was released only on the PSP.
